Don't give up!!!! Keep trying.
I was all prepared to give my fourth attempt when I woke up today morning. Fortunately I got through.

My listening scores in last 2 attempts were 7.5 and 7. Finally got an 8.5.
Writing scores were 7.5 and 7. Got 7.5 again

You have done so well in rest of the 3 parts which is commendable.

Few tips which I feel may help (General Training) -

1. For first section, make sure to write 2-3 paras, first para always sounds like..This is to inform you...
Last para - I would be grateful for your help....
Read couple of letters, understand the format and language. Learn how to start and end a para.

2. For second section, again split it into 4 paras.
First para - If you agree with the question or disagree
Second para - Your opinion - Start by saying - In my opinion.....
Third para - Fill in some examples from your life or make it up.
Fourth para - Again repeat what your opinion is. Say stuff like You firmly believe etc.

What I feel is like the IELTS book by British Council does not do justice to how one should write. Go on Youtube.

DON'T GIVE UP, PRACTICE IS THE KEY

Good Luck!

1st attempt in Jan LRWS - 8 8.5 6.5 7.5 (BC)
2nd attempt in May LRWS - 8.5 8 6.5 7.5 (BC)
3rd attempt on 18th Aug LRWS 8 8.5 6.5 7.5 (IDP)

First two attempts were with self preparation only but the last attempt was after a month of proper coaching and practice. I was confident to get a 7 in writing this time :(

Where did you go for coaching. Do you have any writing samples?

I have written few tips which I have mentioned above. Do have a look.

Is there anyone still out there without their results being published? I haven't received my results yet. I haven't received any mail stating that my result is delayed either.

@Moburhan ,

I would suggest you send it for reevaluatin... My sister had the same scores as yours and she applied for reevaluation and within 10days she received her new trf report with .5 increase in writing.
Congrats for your sister! I will apply for EOR (reevaluation) but they told me that reevaluation would take 3-4 weeks!
