Does it is mandatory for spouse to succeed IELTS exam ?
I am from India, carries 7 years of experience in Pharmaceutical induatry.
I heared that in new Federal law from 2013, IELTS will be mandatory for spouse also.
Kindly give your comments on the same.

No, not mandatory, but you won't get any adaptation points for her language ability.

Old Regulations you could have got 5 adaptation points for spouses education, this has been eliminated, you now can get 5 points if Accompanying spouse/partner’s official language is equal to (CLB/NCLC 4)

In points grid, there is 5 points for adaptability, that you can gain to make your case more strong, you will get 0 point in adaptability, if your Spouse doesn't have IELTS.

Lets consider that I achieve the 67 points without a single point from my wife's adaptability.

Now my question is that wheter my file will be acceptable or it will be refused based on inability of my wife ????

if u achieved 67.. no need to worry.. ur wife,s ielts will not be the reason of refusal.. its only advantage that u can get extra 5 points for ur wife,s ielts.. but if u have sufficient point..then no need of wife,s ielts...

Dear all using above cited website, my points telly from education, experience and age comes to 50 and so can anyone tell that how will it be possible for me to qualify with my family for Federal skill worker??? Because as per the weblink you can get mum 16 points fom IELTS. So my final score will remains on 66 after scoring maximum in IELTS.
I am preparing for DELF A1.
After clearing DELF A1, does it will contribute any point to my point tally.....???
Have a nice time...to alll....!!

yes if you want to get 5 points for adaptability. now CIC is going to remove points for her education but will bring points for her IELTS score. Her = Spouse :)
