IELTS for FSW program?

Hi all,

I am new to this forum so please excuse if I am asking the obvious.
Following are my questions, can someone be pls be so kind enough to answer:
1. Is it mandatory to clear the IELTS (and score above the cut off score) to be eligible for applying for the FSW 2014 program?
2. Can TOEFL be used as a substitute of IELTS for the FSW 2014 program?

1. You must score above the cut off (CLB 7) score if you are the principal applicant for you application to be processed.
2. Sorry, TOEFL is not acceptable by CIC.

Yes Sankalita,

1: Not only is mandatory but you have to get 6 in each skill to apply otherwise it gets rejected. Even if your overall bandscore is 8 and you get less that 6 in any skill you application will be returned.
2.TOEFL, is no longer accepted by CIC or for QSW only IELTS.
