IELTS expiring before program begins but valid at the time of study permit application

I am an Indian citizen & my IELTS scorecard expires on August 2021 & I am intending to apply for a study permit for a program starting in January 2022.

If I apply for the study permit in May 2021, then as my IELTS would be valid at the time of my application, will my current IELTS scorecard (with August 2021 expiration date) be valid or will I need to re-appear for an IELTS exam?

I would be deeply obliged if you could help me out here.

I dont think that will be an issue, it will be valid at the time of application
