:-X I think the education points is one of the most confusing issues and I am glad I had a consultant to help me with them. My case for example I was super nerd (sorry lack of a better word) and I completed in five years a Bachelors in Science, A masters in Science and a Masters in engineering from two of the top US universities (one was an ivy). So in my case for example, I would have never met the number of years but just because I was able to overload academically and anticipate the duration of my programs. CIC still gave me all 25 points for my education although I was only 23 at the time I had completed all of my education it didn't set any alerts or anything. So in the end what I am trying to say is that the number of "years" is not necessarily the driving factor credentials are also part of it.
Just sharing my case
