IELTS academic score expiring before start of the course

Hello everyone. I took my last IELTS academic exam in Oct 2018. With this, it means its validity will expire in Oct 2020. Since the course is scheduled for Feb 2021, do I have to take the exam again? And I still have to apply for the study permit and I am afraid it might become the reason for refusal. Kindly assist. Thank you.

The validity of your IELTS Academic has nothing to do with your study permit application. What's important is to be accepted by a university. If they require you to redo the test, you'll have to redo. IRCC does not care.
