I just checked my passport and I didn’t find any paper stick into it.

again.. as i said if someone confirms that result will be out on https://results.ieltsessentials.com then you dont need candidate number

I Can't remember my candidate number either, but my location emailed that the results would be accessible here:
https://ielts.britishcouncil.org/CandidateLogin.aspx

This only needs passport info & reference number (which I have in an email).
After you login, there's a section called "my test", where the results should be displayed.

Well, that's what's in the email from my test location. I took the test in Calgary, Canada . But https://results.ieltsessentials.com probably also works

I remember in speaking test the examiner said British council, but on official website it says the exam is managed by IELTS USA. What is IELTS USA? The link to check score under IELTS USA is the same as IDP Australia

For US its IDP only as far as I know

I would assume midnight local time for that location, depending on time zone?

It would be 10 hours here in US pacific time
