Guys,

We have seen in previous IELTS forums, the candidates for general training and academics often confuse about the answer keys since the two tests are of different question sets.

Lets gather here only to discuss on general training IELTS held on 20-Jan-2018. To share the answers to get an idea about our probable score.

Some of you might have appeared the Speaking Test already.

For me, the cue-card topic was:-

-Tell about a story you have heard
-From whom you have heard
-What you have learnt from the story.

What about you all?

??!! Man what exam you sat for ? Was it academic ? The reading section you are talking about is quite irrelevant ! I have just did GT

This is general training .... held today...20-Jan-2018. I sat for the test in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

You might have got different set of question papers, I guess.
I hope so, my reading sections were :
1 ads for rest. And hotels/ matching header
2 tips for putting a job description
3 manuscripts in moritania ...
4 insurance form and services
And other i rember the night shift one and its effect but this maybe was listening

New Zealand answer was not water, trees
the question was Europeans migrated because there were plenty of :
in audio: they arrived to gather water and discovered that there are many trees => they migrated because there were many trees
