I was up to stage 2 in my IEC working holiday visa application but this morning I woke up to a refusal letter which stated I was refused due to not supplying my Australian Federal Police certificate. I was pretty surprised as I definitely uploaded my AFP cert & my full driver history report when they re-opened my application submission to allow the 2 documents. I've sent a case enquiry form stating that it was uploaded - attaching a screenshot of the upload file and the police cert again but i'm unsure if they'll even get back to me as it states they won't respond if it's still within the processing time.
I've considered contacting Sydney (i'm from Melbourne) but the website states they cannot assist in IEC matters, i'll probably send a message through Kompass too but I don't know how much that will help as i'm pretty sure they can't really assist with work permit matters. I'm very keen and was looking forward to starting an adventure in Canada so i'd love to hear anyone's feedback, if something similar has happened to you and how you got past it.
I guess if i don't get a response from CIC i'll just reapply for another CAL but I just checked and there doesn't seem to be an option to reapply in the current account so I assume i'd have to start right from scratch and do that again too. Can anyone who's been refused and successfully re-applied shed light on how they did that?
