Hi all… gotta question for ya! 8)
I have been in touch with an Immigration specialist as I am currently processing my PNP. I'm worried that because they're taking a while now to get approvals back to everyone, what is the situation if I don't have the approval by the time my second IEC visa ends. I have been told that they still process the PNP application but you aren't allowed to work. You will have to go and turn your work permit into a Tourist / visiting visa and take annual leave until you get your decision. Hoping that your job position is still open.
Has anyone been in this situation or knows anyone that has been?
For record, to date I have received my email detailing the Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) and my tracking number. Its just the waiting part now.
