Just wanted to quickly share what just happened to us today, because when I was feverishly researching the situation, I couldn't find any positive news on the forums.
Long story short, CIC takes forever, we know that.
We applied in time, Our IEC visas have since expired, and we were worried about not getting through, because we had been working while the visa had technically expired.
Went through customs, had absolutely no issues. Did not have to show evidence of anything, it took about 10 ,minutes and we were done.
The moral of this story is, don't lose hope, and don't let the stress get to you. You might just get lucky.
