As a British citizen we can apply to for a visa which allows us to visit Canada and find work to fund our travels during this time, I just have a few questions regarding this.

I'm a 19 year old actor, so I would be wanting to visit Toronto, take some classes at Second City, and constantly apply for acting work throughout my year there. Would this be possible under the experience canada visa?

Yes - you can do this on the IEC.

The main issue with the IEC is that the are snatched up extremely quickly. The first round this year were all taken in around 15 minutes. Make sure you're at your computer and ready to go when the next round opens.
