IEC and NZ pre 2015

Hey, I was in Canada on the working holiday program last year and have since just returned home. I've just seen that they have changed the IEC visa for NZers to 23 months in stead of 12, does anyone have official confirmation that there is no way we can get that additional 11 months? Just have to suck it up and consider ourselves unlucky?

Yes, it's quite unfortunate that the rule change happened too late for you but there's nothing you can do. Keep an eye out on the program to see if they change the eligibility rules next year.
