IEC and Express Entry visas

Would anyone be able to shed some light on the below please:


I have obtained an IEC (International Experience Canada) visa recently, this provides me with a 2 year work permit upon entry to Canada. However, would I also be able to apply for Express Entry whilst having an IEC visa? My reasoning behind this is that I imagine Express Entry would provide better job prospects. I am a qualified accountant, however I feel that only having a 2 year visa might hinder my chances of applying for certain jobs.
