Hello everyone,
I am german and currently working in Canada under IEC (young professional). I would like to keep working here with the company for another year, so I have to apply for IEC and get a new work permit before the current one expires. This time I have to enter the international co-op pool.
What information do I provide when I apply from inside Canada for current country of residence and country where applying? Do I have to make it look like I am applying from Germany? I read about people getting their application refused when they stated Canada as their country of residence for a second application.

Thanks!

Just to make sure you've applied through the right IEC stream - do you meet the following two requirements?
  • You’re a student registered at a post-secondary institution
  • You need to do this work placement or internship to complete your studies
