Guys & Gals,

Two days back I'd received reply from Quebec immigration department for my skilled employee visa

I'd scored 48 points whereas eligibility is 57 points

Out of 48 points I'd scored - 39 points are scored from Employable factor and remaining 9 points from other factors

I should get 50 points for employable factor - out of 10 points can be scored from valid offer from Quebec (outside Montreal) - please help me

1. How to get immediate job offer from
2. How to score additional 1 point

All I've is 80 days to reply to Quebec immigration

I've BBA with 8 years of work experience in Indian Automobile industry

Thanks in advance

Getting a job offer is not easy as it takes a long time and kind of rare as they need to clear labor market.
Show how your points are summarized. Probably you have other ways to increase your points.

It's quite unusual to apply with 0 points for Area of Training - that's what's really hurting you here. Only way I can see you making up the shortfall is to really study French like crazy and get that A2 much higher (you'd just make it if you could scrape a B2).

That's really surprising to me also

While I had submitted application (four years back) my service provider confirmed that for BBA under area of training I will be getting 6 points

Apart from completing B2 do I've any other options ?

I would query the Area of Training points awarded both for you and your spouse with the ministry and find out why they have not awarded you any. It doesn't look right based on the area of training list. I'd expect the two of you together to get 8 points for this. Then for the other 1 point the only way I see is increasing either of the language scores.

As you told you have applied four years back, try to understand which rule they apply to you, present or previous one?
If they apply present or existing rule you will definitely achieved AOT point, but for France you will got zero.
But if they assessed you as previous low for France you will definitely achieved some point and check at that time(application submission time) AOT list wheather you clame point or not.
And not only that you need to practice subject related job for claiming AOT point if you obtained your degree five year back.

I believe the AOT will be based on what was listed at the time of submission. They cannot apply the current AOT just because their processing time is long.

Hi Friends,

I have received letter from Quebec immigration department,

I'd scored 48 points whereas eligibility is 57 points

Out of 48 points, I'd scored - 43(Employability) points are scored, so remaining 7 points for employability,& 9 point remaining for Quebec immigration selection.

I have 90 days to reply to Quebec immigration.

Please advise me how to increase my point.

Thanks.
