ID document for IELTS exam

Hi Everyone,

Could anyone please tell me which document should I register and bring on test day. For Canada immigration, does it it really matter whether my passport or national ID number is shown on IELTS certificate?

The problem is that I’ve already registered with my ID card. Will it really affect the immigration process?

No. It won't. As we submit passport as part of the immigration so I thought it might be better to use passport. ID is fine

This is the same reason I have decided to create this thread for. I’ve read that EU citizens can apply with National ID if they wish; however I don’t know if this applies for them only.

Your ielts result sheet will have your photo, full name, nationality, and date of birth on it. That's more than enough information to be sure that you were the test taker.
