Hi friends,

My ICT work permit got rejected with the below reason.

"You have not worked for your employer outside Canada for at least one year within the three years preceding the date of your current work permit application".

I have been with the same employer for past 7 years. I was working in Canada and returned back in Nov last year. Do we have a clause for rejection with the above mentioned reason?

Thanks,

You must work for your employer in a position outside of Canada for a minimum of 12 months before reapplying for the ICT. You were correctly refused.

Thank you scylla for your reply.

But, I didn't work 3 continuous years in Canada. In the last 3 years, I was out of Canada for atleast 15 months (like durations of 2 months, 3 months and 10 months). Do you think am still refused with a valid reason? If so, when can I reapply for work permit again? I have moved out of Canada in the first week of Nov' 2013.

Thanks,

You should be able to apply again in two weeks.
