I797B stamping in Canada

Hi Folks,

My H1b got extended when I was in India during April 2021. I also got Canada WP and started working in Canada since Aug-2021.
I want to plan to go to the US with VISA stamping. As I am in Canada, I will go to the Canada consulate.
My question is:

My I797B shows Consulate as HYDERABAD. Can I book an appointment for any Consulate in Canada? What kind of questions can I expect from the Visa officer.
Appreciate your advice on this.

Yes. You can book anywhere. My I797B had Chennai but I went for visa stamping in Calgary last June. I wasn't any questions regarding that. Just staright forward interview.. job description.. work location etc etc.
