I would like to switch my program within my college. Will it cause any issues when applying for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) or PR

I have completed my graduation in electrical engineering in India and currently have 1.5 years of experience in the IT domain. I am planning to pursue a 2-year PG diploma in Project Management in Canada, including Co-op, but I am interested in switching my program to an IT-related field such as cybersecurity, database development, or cloud computing, all of which offer Co-op opportunities at my college. I have a few questions regarding this:

1) When is the ideal time to apply for a program change? Should I do it before the first semester begins or after the second semester?
2) Will changing my program create any issues when applying for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) or Permanent Residency (PR)?
3) Will there be any fees associated with changing my program?
4)Please can also someone tell me the process for switching programs?

1. Since you have your study permit, update your file with new LOA for the program. You notify IRCC before you begin the new program.
2. No.
