So I'll give a brief timeline:

- I finished my last exam on Dec 9th
- I worked part-time (12 hours) that week until Dec 14th, this is allowed as I had not received my completion of studies letter at this point
- We went on Christmas holiday at work for 2 weeks so I stopped working
- On Dec 22nd, I received my completion of studies letter
- Work Christmas holiday finishes on Jan 4th (I work this full time on this day)
- I apply for my PGWP on the 4th at night (it says application submitted on the 5th)

So i technically I worked for 1 day on the 4th when I wasn't allowed to. How big of a deal is this? Can they know what specific days I even worked on? I've read posts where people worked unauthorized for weeks and still got their PGWP

Thanks.

Did you work 21 hours on Jan 4th? No?
Then you're fine.

You should've been working only 20 hours a week till your PGWP date. Since you didn't even work a day from Christmas till Jan 4th.
Don't stress much about it.

Must've missed reading your completion letter date on 22nd.
Yes you are right that you can't work until you apply for PGWP after getting letter of completion.
So coming back to my question, do you think that one day will be an issue? Is there a way for them to know I worked on that day specifically anyway?

So what happened, did you receive it ?
