I was late in submission and afraid to lose my airticket

I submitted my Trv with one week late for some reasons beyond my control and I am afraid I will lose my airticket already paid.
Does any one knows how to request a special speed up of the processing?

The visa office will not consider your request to expedite the processing until the processing time for your country of residence has passed.

It's never advisable to buy tickets in advance. You may have to consider re-booking your flights
