just_do_it said:you cant change a university into a college
but you can change your education from a university TO a college.
University is a better choice in my opinion. but if you are already afraid of the hard work you would have to do, you are in for a rude awakening. Colleges may be easy to pass through but than again, is it really the kind of education/ skills/ work ethic you want for the same amount of money you would pay in fees?
ali45 said:Hahaha it was by mistake.. Definitely i meant education transfer.
To me honest i am average student, my aim is to transfer into Saskatchewan region just because of PR. It is easier to get PR.
just_do_it said:It is easier to get PR with a univ degree is it not? You still need to work before PR right?
If you dont mind me asking, say you did some random diploma and got PR, what would yo do for work after that? I mean after having spent thousands for the diploma. Please excuse my ignorance but i usually think long term and it just does not make sense to me.
As for being an average student, canadian education is not that hard actually. I have seen average students from India blow everyone out of the competetion by just paying attention in class. It's just not like India where you slack all year long and just pass the finals. You just have to be on top of things every week and be smart about choosing your courses every semester. Hell, i aced university level calculus with little effort and i did my 12'th in medical stream.
Are you under a student visa?ali45 said:Hello Guys,

Me too I am in the same boat like you, but as I am from Algeria and did studies in french I see that quebec will be a good choice for me, I've email univ and they said I may be exempt from french profiency test.
Now, there is something that realy makes me worry is my passport will expire on December 2015 and I am applying for Fall 2013 for master program which needs at least 16 months to be completed and then whe I apply for PGWP usually I'll get it for 3 years right ? in my case they will give me just one year PGWP if I am not mistaken, SO any suggestions my friends about possibility to renew it from Canada ?
Even if I take a break term I will not be able to renew it because here in Algeria they won't accept to renew a passport that didn't expire yet b!!!
