Hi folks! Since I can't find any clear information about adult children being sponsored I wanna ask you, especially if this is your especifically rare case. Can my father sponsor me if I'm 28 years old, and he's a PR, divorced, without any Canadian or relatives whatsoever living in Canada? His parents have passed away and siblings overage.
Anyone in same situation?
Thanks for your help

Please review this info below.

Dependant:

Option 2: other relative:

Hi

As long as he has no common-law partner and no Canadian citizen/PR relatives anywhere in the world, he can sponsor you. Note that it would be the "Other Relative" application, not the dependent child application.

True. As a sponsor he meets all the requirements, and even if I'm not a dependent child he has nobody else to sponsor. That gives me a light of hope :) Thanks for your help!
