What did the 2 lawyers tell you, and what do you mean they are not “real.” You are on a closed work permit and working illegally and being paid in cash. IRCC has figured it out, and want to see your bank statements, pay stubs etc. The moderators of this forum are immigration lawyers.

Then get the lawyer with the answer to represent you.

@cooktls you have not respected the conditions of your work permit. Working without authorization is a breach of Canada's immigration laws. All of this was made very clear to you on IRCC's website and on the stipulations outlined on your work permit.

You will need to Google a lawyer who has the expertise or willingness to represent you going forward as IRCC will be seeking an explanation from you.

I'm dissapointed to see people come to this wonderful country and break immigration laws. All you had to do was wait for a new permit or for PR. It's unfair on the rest of us who have closed work permits and it's abhorrent behaviour by the employer who is equally responsible for employing you illegally and paying you illegally. I presume you haven't paid taxes on that cash.

Know full well that if you aren't upfront with IRCC about this, you have a high risk of inadmissibility from Canada and being ordered to depart.
