I am planning to get a master degree in Canada and that normally qualifies me for 16-36 months post graduation work permit. I would find a job and for work for a year or so and then apply for a permanent residence through the Express Entry program. Does the US asylum withdrawl in 2016 affect my application for a study permit in Canada, post graduation work permit and EE or I don't even need to mention it at all?!

Yes you need to mention it or you could receive a ban for misrepresentation. Unfortunately your asylum claim is likely to result in a denial of your study permit. You should still try but applying for asylum has longterm consequences. You can still apply for PR from your home country once you are eligible.
