I received PPR but no request for Biometrics? Confused

Hi everyone,

So i received the PPR two days ago and i'm a Syrian citizen so of course by right I should give my biometrics but VFS Global said if I didn't receive a biometric request letter on my cic account then I don't need to give them. I just wanted to confirm with you guys here?

my application was of course last year and I received the ETA in May so is that why I don't need to give the biometrics?

If you have received PPR email then you are good. No need of biometrics

So let me be clear, you got what your objective was, but because 1 step was skipped you want us who does not work at CIC to reassure you that everything is fine. Be grateful, count your blessing go celebrate and pack your bags and dont going looking for trouble

I guess I am wondering if you guys know for sure if the application was set before july 31st then there is no need for the biometrics as that rule was only made for applications after july 31st? I guess I always thought as long as the application was still in progress then it should apply too. Anyway it sounds like no need since they didn't ask me for the biometrics and it seems that it's a step before PPR anyway.
