I received my passport but not citizenship certificate

Hi Everybody,
I applied for Canadian passport so I needed to mail my original citizenship certificate. I received my passport last week but my certificate is not in the mail. Does anybody know whether the certificate will be posted separately or there is another reason that my citizenship certificate is not mailed back?
