Hello,

My brother has sponsored me for immigration to Canada under family class sponsorship.

Yesterday I received a letter from the local Canadian embassy to complete a medical exam but my wife didn't. We were both included in the same sponsorship application and my brother has paid the fees for the two of us. Is there something wrong? Do I have to contact the embassy and let them know about this? I am worried that she's been mistakenly excluded from the process by CIC.

Please help!

Thank you!

If your wife was included in the Sponsorship Application.......i will advice you contact the Canadian Embassy immediately that sent you the request for medical exam regarding your wife exclusion.

Give it a few days even up to a week before panicking. Even though you applied together you are still viewed as separate people so there can be some delays between individual emails.
