I checked my Express Entry application and nothing pertaining investments is asked.

Though since in most countries, housing purchases and other investments is a huge +, I'm wondering if this will at all help me increase my points either at this stage of the process where I'm waiting for my Invitation to Apply or later in the immigration process at all.

Any insights would be much appreciated.

No - no increase or help.

Honestly, why do you buy a condo if you do not have permission to permanently live in Canada and so in your condo, yet? Unless... you're rich and don't care. :o

Many people do so. They think they would make money upon selling as oppose to lose money if they rent a place to live during their stay in Canada.

Yeah, well... and then, when you have to leave the country, you might be in trouble finding a buyer... somebody will notice, and you sell it for a bargain price, because people abuse your situation and you want to get rid of it fast to not make any other losses. If a car can create that much trouble, I don't like to know what it's like to sit on a property.

no, it won't help at all for the PR application. However, if you are seeking a provincial nomination, it could help demonstrate commitment to living in that province.

No benefits in terms of CEC.

Beware that BC is imposing extra 15% property transfer tax on non-canadian citizens/PRs.

maybe but the way CIC think it could also demonstrate someone is trying too hard to play the system, could go either way.

I think PMM's point is more of a concern. Ouch.
