You were not going on holiday and don’t fit any of the other categories. If you no longer had status in the UK you were able to fly out of the country. Were flights running? You can certainly try to explain that due to lockdown and Covid you thought you should not fly. Was there a change of rules or covid situation between when your status expired and the next month when you flew home? At the time you left flights were landing in India and departing the UK?
I didn't check that if the flights were running, I thought that, I should not fly, my last day to fly out of the country was October 31, but I went Qurentine because I had symptoms so, once the lockdown expired I flew directly back to India.

Had you purchased a flight and had to reschedule when your potential covid symptoms started? You can’t blame not leaving on sudden onset of Covid-like symptoms because you normally purchase a plane ticket to India more than a few days before leaving. Did you have Covid? Proof that you had Covid or another viral illness or cold at the time would be a reason why you couldn’t or shouldn’t (because others may be worried you had Covid if you were showing covid-like signs) travel during that time period. When you say lockdown were flights running? Were people able to leave their houses at all? How long did you have between when your marriage ended and when your status expired? If your marriage ended and you had days to leave in 30 days is much different than if you had 6 months to leave. It sounds like you didn’t leave based on your own judgement so I would suggest attaching an explanation letter that you delayed your travel because of the state of Covid in the UK and assumed you shouldn’t fly during a lockdown. Did the Covid and lockdown situation change by the next month when you did fly?

Yes in the month of December, the lockdown wasn't there in the country.

You can highlight that you left when the country changed from lockdown to no longer being in lockdown. Lockdowns didn’t prevent people leaving the country so technically not really something the prevented you from leaving but definitely a good argument for why you overstayed.
