i visited my two closes friends in canada and i like it here so much i wanted to stay in canada to work well they been looking for a caregiver for there son so they can work during the day and i was wondering would i even be approved if there subsidy pays for me to watch there kid? cause i was going to do that and look for a real job but idk how all this works and if i keep reading these government sites all its doing is stressing me i need help with someone that done it on step by step on what i do plz im from the usa and i just want to stay here and work plz can someone help me

Your prospective employer must be in a position to pay your salary and if they are receiving government subsidy, then it will not work.

Employer/s:
Get CRA number as employer.
Publish position at the national job bank for at least 14 days.
Applies for LMO in your favour if no Canadian citizen or PR applies or qualified.

Employee/Caregiver (you)
To qualify, must at least have the equivalent of finishing Canadian Secondary Education;must speak either English or French.
must at least have a caregiver certificate course or have worked as a caregiver/nanny for at least one year.
If you have the necessary education and experience, sign a contract with the prospective employer.
You apply for a WP once your prospective employer receives a positive LMO.
