I need help processing time South Africa

Hello y'all
I would like to know something, I'm in South Africa in I applied Canada visitor visa on the 10th of August to participate in the conference in Toronto on the 19 to 21 of September. When I applied the processing time was 27 days but it's been a month now no news I didint applied online it's was by paper in Pretoria. Am a student, it my first year and I gave all document ( letter of conference, bank statement, letter of my school, hotel reservation, booking ticket. And my passport. I want to know my application is in the good way? Or not. And if the processing time pasted they can still refuse a visa after waiting so long?

The posted processing time is just an estimate. It's quite possible for processing to take a few months.

Yes - they can certainly still refuse the application at this point.

Unfortunately there is no way to tell whether you are going to be approved or refused. You'll have to wait for a decision.
