I NEED HELP FOR THE RETURN OF MY PASSPORT

Hello,
I applied for a visa to study in Canada in August 2019, then I reconsidered my options and withdrew my application. I sent a withdrawal application via mail which was confirmed by the IRCC saying my withdrawal will be processed immediately. As of today, may 2021, I have not received my passport and I need it to continue my studies. Is there a step I missed or a form for return of passport?

I did contact the VAC which confirmed my passport is still in the IRCC in senegal. I tried mailing them but to no avail. I really don’t know what to do anymore

If i understood you, you withdraw and change your mind again and you want study permit now? If correct then they will process withdraw and you will have to make another new application

No not that. I totally do not want it anymore and just want my passport back. And I applied for a withdrawal which was confirmed by the office. But I have not gotten my passport yet

Thank you for your interest. I requested for a return/withdrawal on the 6th of Jan, 2020. This was confirmed by the office in Dakar on the 22nd of the same month. But I have not heard anymore from them since then. The mail sent told me I was not eligible for a refund. I never asked for a refund but just my passport back and no reply.
