1. Mine took 7 weeks. Some have had 6-9 weeks. But I haven't actually heard of anyone waiting the 12-16 weeks.
2. Because the FBI says so. You want their service, do it the way they ask you to.
3. The medical form is in the Region Specific Guide. Fill it in, take it with you to the doctor. The doctor must be a Designated Medical Practitioner. Look at the listing on CIC for your region to see which is closer to you, you MUST use someone from the Designated Medical Practitioner list.
4. All the documents for sponsor and applicant(s) must be sent together to Mississauga when your husband applies for sponsorship approval, Mississauga then forwards the package to your Visa Office for applicant processing.
5. Include her in the application anyways. She will need a medical examination, and that leaves the option open for her to accompany you, or not.
6. (your second 5) Yes, all the documents must be submitted together to CPC-Mississauga for sponsor and applicant.

1. If you are talking about the RCMP criminal record check fingerprints...My husbands took a over a year. The first time it took them 5 months and they said they sent him a letter saying he had to re-do them, however the letter was never recieved. We contacted our MP who contacted immigration who contacted the RCMP to find this out. He then re-did his fingerprints in the beginning of Oct. 2010 and they processed them and the RCMP processed them and sent them to Guatamala on Feb 18th, 2011.

2. Dont know.

3. You have to get the forms, and see a specific doctor that is designated by immigration in your area, check the website for the info.

4. send all the info together

5. I agree, include her in the app anyway

6 (your other 5...lol) yes send everything at the same time to the same place, they will forward it to the correct embassy for you once they have processed the sponsors part of the application. also pay all the fees, pr fees, etc at the same time and send the reciepts of payment with everything
