To explain quickly the situation my girlfriend (from mexico) is on a TRV until October 8, she also filled a work permit application with LMIA last week, we understand that she is on implied status. Although;

We are getting married on the 28th of October, we will file a Spousal Sponsorship application soon.

My question are :
-IF for some reason the work permit is denied, what happens?
-What are our solution to keep her legal status in that case?
-Should we file a TRV extension in case the work permit is denied before her current TRV expires?

Thank you

She would fall out of status.

Apply for a visitor record before her allowed visit ends on the 8th.
