I recently finished my Master in Applied Mathematics in Alberta, Canada and now I work in a retail store as a Shelf Filler.

I did my English Test and I had
Written 5.5
Reading 6.0
Speaking 7.5
Listening 6.0

Now, I am looking at applying for Permanent residence Which immigration platform is mostly suitable for me ?

Thank you

CEC program once you complete a year of skilled work experience in Canada.

The problem being your current position wouldn't qualify as skilled work experience.

Yes I see so too.
What do you think about my English test result?
People say I must get atleast 6.0 in each of the test

For the CEC program your score is sufficient to be eligible assuming your job is NOC B.

That being said if you're looking to get a competitive CRS score you should really retake the test.

Okay, thank you.

But is it possible to apply for CEC, I mean atleast I should be in the pool with all I have at the moment?

Or do I have to secure a job in NOC B first before I can apply?

Thanks

No, your profile will be ineligible until you obtain a year of skilled work experience, forget about being in the pool until you achieve this.

Thanks.

Just one more thing.

What if I have a very good english test result. Do I have to get a job offer to be eligible to apply for CEC?

You don't need a job offer, you need a year of skilled work experience even if you have perfect English scores.
