I made a mistake

I went to Canada in September 2017 intake thought student visa. Due to certain circumstances I had to drop my course to go back to my country and I got my GIC back but I haven’t cancelled my visa and is valid up to 2019. I recently applied for another course for may 2018 intake. So, do I have to re apply for the visa ?

Others can comment as well but given you dropped out of your course it is likely the college reported you to IRCC and your study permit was probably cancelled as a result.
