https://www.canada.ca/en/services/benefits/publicpensions/cpp.html

https://www.canada.ca/en/services/benefits/audience/canadiansabroad.html

All the information on eligibility can be found in above links.

Time spent in India does not even count towards residency obligation so do not see how that counts towards anything else

If you stay in India without returning to live in Canada then at some point you will of course fail the residency obligation.

I do not really know anything about pensions but would expect payments outside of Canada to be aimed at citizens and not PRs who chose to live outside Canada who would at some point fail the RO and end up having PR status revoked. Once revoked my assumption would be an individual is entitled to nothing as they no longer have any rights to live in Canada but that’s just my view.

You must live in Canada for 10 years to qualify for a minimum payment.

If you haven't lived in Canada for 10 years, then you do not qualify.

If the OP does in fact qualify given the social security agreement with India as far as qualfying years in India to set against Canada qualifying years then my guess would be maximum 3/40ths of OAS. Personally not spent a lot of time thinking about pension rules so maybe completely wrong.

Still open question did the OP work in Canada for the 3 years ?

3/40th of OAS would be a very small amount so if you don't have your own savings or have family supporting you would not be able to live in Canada.
