I have PR card while traveling outside of Canada

I received my permanent resident visa stamped on August 2012 and landed in Oct 2012. I got Permanent resident card on Dec 2012. Now I feel want to meet my family outside of Canada and will stay there for 3 weeks then return back to Canada. My husband is Canadian citizenship and I have PR card. If I want to go to outside country with my husband, does it will affect my PR status?

If it will not affect, what important documents do I will bring?

Travelling outside Canada with a PR card is absolutely no problem. As a PR, you are allowed to stay outside Canada for up to 3 years in any 5 year period so 3 weeks is no problem. In addition, time spent with your Canadian citizen husband outside Canada counts as time in Canada anyway towards your PR residency requirements.

You do not need any documents to travel. Just your flight ticket, passport and PR card.

You should keep your flight tickets and boarding cards from your trip. You need to know the dates of your leaving Canada and coming back because you will be asked about that when your PR card expires and you have to renew it and also if you apply for citizenship.

One more ask, if someone's baby born in Canada, he or she need to apply visit visa for going to his/her parent's home country?

If the baby only has Canadian citizenship and Canadians are not visa exempt to the parents home country, then the parents will have to apply for a visit visa for the baby.

However, in many cases, the baby would be given citizenship in the parents home country as well. The parents will have to ask their country embassy in Canada about that and arrange for citizenship for the baby if possible.
