  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on December 11, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 30, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on February 26, 2018.

Not sure what's your point of the post. My wife's application is still in processing since Dec 12, 2017. We are all in the same boat.

You're actually doing remarkably well, friend. Yours was received 3wks after mine; AOR'd 2wks after mine; & IP'd 6 days after mine. So, at that rate, you should be receiving your test/interview invite before I do. Well done.

looool mine has been IP since Nov 14th... Nothing yet...
I guess it all depends on which region/office... if it's Mississauga office then it is normal, if it's Calgary or Ottawa then it may be time to panic LOL

Yea... mine is Scarborough, the slowest one I guess...

I disagree LOL - a lot of people I know(who submitted in Oct, the same time as I did) already finished the test last month, while I am still waiting for text invite from Mississauga, which is THE slowest one

Mississauga seems to be the slowest one. Follow the progress on the sheet.

Mississauga has put more October applicants through oath than Scarborough, so I'm swinging the argument back that Mississauga is doing a bit better...

LOL ... Anyway, neither one of us got any concrete proof, just ranting here
BTW, there's a citizenship ceremony at Nathan Phillips Square in front of city hall on May 29 - if we all go there maybe we can talk to the officials there and probably get our test and oath on the spot! LOL

I am new to the forum and just wondering about my application, as I spoke with a friend of mine from Windsor , Ontario and he got his Canadian Citizenship already. He applied in November/2017 and for him the process was shorter then mine. Thank you for your reply!!
