I have applied for canada student visa and i got the approval . Now i want to cancel it

Hi,

I applied for canada student visa in feb 2023 and it got approved in March 2023. Now i have some family medical emergency due to which i cannot travel to canada. Now i want my admission to be canceled. For cancelation of my admission college is asking to get the Visa canceled from IRCC.I have already submitted the webform but there is no response from IRCC.Can anyone help how to cancel the Approved Visa?

You cannot cancel an approved visa. You just don’t use it.
