Hi All,

I just receive a work permit now.

Then which jobs can I apply for ?

I am just a temporary resident in Vancouver, and approved to do medical and criminal test.

thank you for all of your help

That doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Your ONLY employer should be listed on the WP. If it is an open WP, then there may be conditions saying you can not work in certain occupations.

Is this a refugee claimant WP?

The work permit will tell you if it is limited or if it is open.

thank you for all your help.

the occupation in my work permit state : OPEN EA.

Does anyone know what does it mean ?

And yes, there is some works that can't work likes child care and health or else.

thank you

Except for child care, health care and food service, you can work for whoever will hire you. Note you can work in the restricted occupations once you pass your medical.

PMM

There are also certain specialty programs where you can get it, for example through youth exchange programs (usually called "youth mobility programs" or "working holidays"), but they tend to be available only for a year or two for specific countries.
