Is it possible for a guy of 27 years to get a sponsorship from Canada, though i do have some work experience and I'm also handy too.

It doesn't work like that - sponsorship is only for family members of Canadian citizens and permanent residents (and not all family members,, primarily spouses and children).
There is a different type of sponsorship for refugees but again - quite specific requirements.
Other immigration is mainly based on education + professional experience.
