Hi, I had sponsored my wife (July 2011), due to some mis-understanding I had to withdraw my application (March 2012) with the intention of re-applying as soon as things have settled (The application was sitting in the visa office abroad at the time of withdrawal, AND yet no medicals were asked etc).

Now I am fully prepared to re-apply. I have been told to check the CIAPS NOTES so that I may know what was said when immigration withdrawn my spousal sponsorship. DO I REALLY NEED THAT?

Also please advise what would be the things that I have to be carefull while re-applying? I understand that I would need an explaination letter about what happened and how things got better etc. but still wondering, what you all think I should use as an evidence to support re-concillation and relationship from there on?

Just want to add that we have a son born from this marriage and I am sure this is a good thing and supports my marriage case.

PLEASE SUGGEST, YOUR OPINIONS OR EXPERIENCES ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO ME, AS I WOULD LIKE TO DO THINGS RIGHT FROM ALL OVER AGAIN...I HOPE YOU ALL UNDERSTAND AND WOULD SHARE..THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

It would be a good idea to see what has been said about the file. It only costs 5 dollars to get them.

You will definitely need to submit a detailed explanation of the situation. You will also need more evidence that your marriage is genuine than the average applicant, since the visa officer will be scrutinizing the application in detail because of the withdrawal. Use any evidence you have to show that the relationship has recovered and is strong now.
