Alright, to answer some questions:

No, I didn't defer before or after AIP. I didn't start my classes either (they start Sept. 10). No location was mentioned in my AIP letter, it was just text. The rejection letter came from Abu Dhabi embassy. It just doesn't make sense. They issue me AIP, say explicitly in their webinars and on their website that AIP means "Eligibility Stage" passed, yet they reject me on THE SAME REASONS they PASSED me for.

Is there anything I can do at this point?

Just one question did u have any past travel history to any country?

RIP my friends.

Visa refused after AIP, on eligibility reasons. Never felt so hopeless as a Pakistani. Didn't defer. Didn't do anything that would make them reconsider my stage 1 approval.

IELTS: 8.0
Program: Bachelor's in CompSci, University of Windsor.

And yes, rejected on the same reasons they provide to everyone - especially after AIP.

Yes, I applied under SDS. I have no previous refusals. My medical and biometrics passed months ago. No criminal record, nothing.

Submitted new LOA back in April, received refusal on September 03. I still cannot pinpoint why I was refused.. Waiting on GCMS Notes.

Then the deferral shouldn’t be the reason of refusal like what the previous comment have said.

Incorrect, AIP is so that Canadian unis and colleges can continue to make 24 billion a year while not letting anyone into the country. It's a mystery why so many are confused about this fact.

i believe AIP is just a way to say, "Your file has not been lost yet"

Geez, yes it was written in OP's refusal letter. SoP did not convince case officer that he will return to his home country after the completion of his studies

I'm 18 years old. Thus, no travel history. Never really had a reason to go abroad. Addressed this in my SOP as well.
