I got admission in Berrie, ON. which mobile network is good?

Hi All,

I need some guidance on mobile phone usage in Canada....I have read some posts here which describes how the telephone system works in Canada..... They have some deals in which you get the mobile phones along with the connection you buy....


I need to buy mobile phones here in India right now so I thought of buying a phone which I can carry to Canada when I migrate.....will smart phones such as Samsung S3, S4 mini or Naxus 4... will work in Canada if I purchase one of it in India..?.And will I get good deals from operators if I don't purchase the phone..?

Apart from that i got an admission in college of Berrie, ON. but i have no idea about mobile network... i had rumor about some company like Wind.. Roger but i have no idea which company has provided best network...!!???

Any rough idea about the cost of using mobile phones will be very helpful.....

Wind would be good for you . You can get their phone along with connection . Plus point you can send unlimited text any where in the world and in Canada . Unlimited calls canada wide .
Odd side . You can't use this phone to other networks .
Rogers bel are way expensive and other companies have other restriction and limited coverage

yes, Roger is very costly then WIND, but it heard that Roger has Very strong Network Facility..!?? Isn't it??

If I want to Compare in between ROGER & WIND.. !! Then Which company is provide Best Network connectivity in Berrie?? As per yr Opinion???

Wind mobile is CDMA service provider. ...if you want to use your own handset from India e.g. GSM, you may choose Roger or KOODO. Roger is expensive than KOODO. BTW I'm from parry sound.
