Hello Guys,

I've applied to Quebec Skilled Worker program in Damascus embassy, I've got the CSQ, and my application for permanent residence was delivered on 15-March-2011, I have to wait for about one year to get receive the medical forms.

I found a job in Quebec, what can I do to speed up my application processing?
Is it a good idea to apply for a permanent worker visa?

The only way to get there faster is to apply for a work permit. That way, you can be in Quebec and working while you wait for your PR processing to be completed.

Since you already secured a job, the better option as LEON pointed out is to apply a work permit so that you do not waste any time.

The employer will have to get a CAQ and a LMO.
