I finally asked CEC if they consider update Documents

I am Posting it so it can help people with questions of updated letters being consider or not

Waiting is frustrating for me specially if one of my job offer depends on my PR status. So I finally asked them

Dear sir /Madam,

This is regarding my PR application which was submitted on 31st October 2012. GCMS notes which were generated on 29th june states that my work experience is counted from 11th november 2011 which is comvocation date. I confirmed from CIC call center before submitting the application that experience will be counted from day I got my PGWP which is 29th Sept.

To avoid any confusion I submitted new reference letter which shows my work experience till 7th Feb 2013. I got positive reply from you that documents are added to my file.

I am wondering if my experience letter will be taken in to consideration or not.

Their reply was
Dear Sir/Madam,

All documents provided will be reviewed and assessed by an immigration officer.
No further action is required on your part at this time.
You will be contacted should further information be required or regarding the next steps in your file.

How long for them to email back? When u send them aupdated letetter. Did urr ecas shows that they received more info or they emailed u back that they received it?

depends some time they mail u back in a week some time 2 week...no set time line for that..usually
they mail you back that documents are added to your file. i think they add documents if they think
its really needed..

All this means is the VO will look at it and apply the rules. This is not a guarantee that the VO will USE the new information in making a decision. According to the rules, they cannot. But you never know, you might get lucky!
