Hi,
Please help me by giving expert suggestions on my case.
I had obtained my PR in 2019 under Federal Skilled Worker program. Landed in Canada May-2020 and returned back to my home country in July-2020. When I had obtained my PR back in 2019, I was married which has ended up with a divorce in May-2022. I have a 8 years old son who is currently living with his mother. My ex-wife and my child had also obtained PR along with me (I was the Principal Applicant) but they did not landed in Canada and their COPR have expired. Due to unstable married life and COVID-19 pandemic, I choose to stay at my home country. Finally, I have return back to Canada in June-2023. Time difference between I left Canada and returned back again is less than 03 (three) years that I believe has kept my PR status alive.
In March-2023, I have got married again. My current wife is residing with me at Canada who has come here under Visitor Visa. It is also the second marriage of my wife and she does not have any child from her past marriage.
Now, I want to apply for PR for my wife. Being new in Canada, I am still not into any job. I am currently searching for job and I have about 30K CAD in my Bank Account to support myself and my wife for upcoming couple of months. My questions are as below:
1. Will I still be able to sponsor my wife to obtain a PR?
2. Will it be wise to sponsor my wife for her PR under my unemployment situation? If yes, then what are the things I need to do or what are the documents I need to provide to satisfy a Immigration Officer under the Form IMM 5533 ?
3. Form IMM 0008: My son will not accompany my current wife. Being the Principal Applicant, should by wife need to declare her step-son as a "Dependent"? If so, then should he be gone through a Medical Examination and/or Police Verification? What if I do not write his details in this form? Please note that my child is financially neither dependent on me nor on my current wife.
4. Form IMM 5406: Should my wife give the details of her step-child if she does not give his details in section "Dependent" under for IMM 0008?
5. Form IMM 5532 (Part A: Point 3): Should I include my child's name here as "Financially Dependent People" on me? As I had mentioned earlier, my child is financially neither dependent on me nor on my current wife.
6. Form IMM 5532 (Part C: Point 11): I have included the location and contact details where our Marriage Ceremony, Reception and Honeymoon taken place. Is it ok to give these details as "Support on our Relationship"?
Sorry for my long write up although I was necessary to portrait my case clearly.
Advance thanks for your kind suggestions on my questions.
Michael
